For the past several years, we have had access to the Albanian New Testament on audio devices especially designed for the visually impaired. These have been a great help spreading the Word of God through out the communities of the visually impaired of Albania. The solar charging and the easy navigation are helpful to those that want to hear. The players are dedicated devices that are prerecorded with the New Testament and some evangelical sermons for people to listen to. We are very thankful for this opportunity to aid in the spiritual teaching of Albanians.
“So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.”
There has been some interest among blind believers of Albania for devices that also contain the Old Testament. They very much feel the need to also listen to the foundations of our faith, since “all of Scripture is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.” This is certainly an important project and we are looking at the possibility to access these devices for distribution. We are excited about this project and may we pray together for this to be a reality.
